Basing on the requests of our readers www.chernobyl.info launches a new section called Experts’ Opinions. In it views of prominent scientists on Chernobyl-related problems will be presented. The first article comparing the health consequences of Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings and Chernobyl disaster is already there.
PROJECT OF MONTH:

Volunteerism as Common Ground for Oxford University and Chernobyl Affected Area.

Seven volunteers from the University of Oxford and the University of Warsaw came to support community development process at the Chernobyl affected area in August 2007. Students participated in the first year of Oxford Volunteers for Chernobyl Scheme implemented by the Oxford University Ukrainian Society, the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the UNDP Chornobyl Recovery and Development Programme (CRDP). more
